me

To all my fans and to the people that don´t know me... yet. I will try to use this blog to write about the work I wanna do any time that it is possible -when the teacher don't give us a specific theme to write about.

But first I have to write about myself, so... my name is Felipe, i'm 27 years young old, I studied Industrial Design and currently I'm studing a Bachelor in Arts with mention in Dance, I like to  design and to sew indumentary and... that's all.

I would like to create a piece in wich I could mix all the three thing I mentioned before and make a dance/fashion film kind of.

About that It's what I wanna/gonna write.

my "professional" information in a plot twist

–First I would like to say that if you read my entry "my red convertible Porsche" you will already know that this thing that I'm doing in this institution  don't represent my interests. Or maybe should say: if you read that entry you will know that  I'm quite doubtful. In that entry I said that I should stick to my original plan, so now I'm trying to bend my destiny and  do what was undo.– I have a Design degree with focusing in Industrial Design and currently I'm a student in the Dance program of the Arts Faculty in Universidad de Chile. non sense

“Why isn't it three plus five the same that six plus two?”  That was what I wonder when I woke up today. Not an European forest full of pines and oaks and musk growing as a natural carpet. That one that grows near the beach was the one that I was trying to scape from.  After running through the forest I found a safe place. I reached the house of a friend of mine.  I had the keys in my pocket, but s uddenly  I was inside trying to solve the way which two dices were going to make my new five friends returned to their original form. They could be objects again, after all, they had finished their work: save me from the three hounds which tried to hunt me at the forest.   The boy who once was a lamp was the nicest one, quite charming and alluring. We fell in love, but the destiny was not on our side.  I throwed the dices and unfortunately ...

aitor throup studio

I'm a visual thinker so my references always have been on that side of the creative spectrum. Sometimes I really wonder if I found another interest rather than the visual appreciation in the dance. I know more architects and more fashion designers than dancers or choreographers. Sometime ago searching information for I don't remember what I reached the website of a british fashion designer, Aitor Throup. More than his designs I found really interesting the way he develops his creative process and specifically how he is able to manage his time despite the timing of the industry. Aitor throup is a multidisciplinar platform that explore how different techniques can be apply to the research and design of new fashion objects. This translates in the embrace of a new way of understand the process and breaks the pressure and the need of the fashion industry for present a show/collection at least twice a year. Instead his work present  a serie of patterns, prototype...
